Templates and transclusions[edit]

Hi. Just a note about using sidebar templates and navigation boxes. The proper way to insert these into articles is by transclusion.

The mechanics is to simply add the template name to article and enclose it in double curly brackets. For example, at the page Battle for Births, instead of adding the entire code of the template as you had done here you should just add {{Mussolini sidebar}} as I have done here.

One of the reasons it should be done this way is it keeps unwanted code (like the template's category declarations) from being applied to the article. A few of your edits caused Category:Italy political leader sidebar templates to be rung up in this week's database report, which is how I discovered the error.
