Roll Call August 2014

[edit]

With the fifth album just weeks away and loads of information is being released concerning the album, singles, tours etc. I would like as many people as possible to join in to help get some more of Slipknot's articles in the Good Article section and even help push the main page as a featured article. Just so the Project can keep an updated list of people who continue to contribute to the Project a Roll Call will happen from time to time. It is understood that over time, users may have lost interest in the Project or Wikipedia all together; if you have, it's no big deal. If you would like to keep contributing to the project please sign the list. If you do not add your name to the list by September 25, you will become an "Inactive member", this will bar you from voting in the AoF. Remember, if you ever want to join the project again, you are always welcome!!! If you are interested in continuing helping sign your name here Kevon100 Talk! Slipknot project

[edit]

It's pretty easy to sign up to the Slipknot Project man... just head on over to WP:SLIP and add your name to the list haha. Not a whole lot is going on with it right now... but it's always good to have people willing to help. A big part of the project is just keeping an eye on the articles and making sure people don't vandalize things and change or add things without proper citing of sources. However, you're more than welcome to suggest an article we should work on or anything like that on the project talk page. REZTER TALK ø 23:40, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that. I don't know how to put references in. I'll give you a link to it: www.myspace.com/spinefarmrecordsuk My Talk Page 21:31, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Walk Away

[edit]

Well, I'm part of fancorps for Five Finger Death Punch, and I was recently sent official promo stickers for the new album. These listed singles from the new track on the back, and the list had "Walk Away" on it. So I added the track. Also, sorry about the album cover deletion, I wondered if it was fanart. Morbus Rising (talk) 04:07, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Matt Snell (musician), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Matt Snell (musician). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Succubus = Hate Me

[edit]

Well, The song has been around for quite some time, under the title Hate Me. I've read from numerous sources that the song title is actually Succubus, but then again, I can't exactly reference them, so credibility may be misplaced. Try doing some Youtube searches of the song Hate Me, there will undoubtedly be one that someone has claimed is actually called succubus.Morbus Rising (talk) 00:18, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Slipknot Project Roll Call

[edit]

In an attempt to breath life back in to the Project I am arranging a Roll Call and will begin making arrangement for group initiatives throughout the coming months. Just so the Project can keep an updated list of people who continue to contribute to the Project a Roll Call will happen from time to time. It is understood that over time, users may have lost interest in the Project or Wikipedia all together; if you have, it's no big deal. If you would like to keep contributing to the project please sign the list here. If you do not add your name to the list by January 16, you will become an "Inactive member", this will bar you from voting in the AoF, as well as receiving the monthly newsletter. I have nominated List of Stone Sour demos, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Stone Sour demos. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

The article Rope'n'Fly has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks significant coverage from reliable, independent sources. (?) No major reviews from reliable sites, only brief

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. czar  02:28, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to .5: The Gray Chapter may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hello, Epeu. It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Battles".

In accordance with our policy that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 17:48, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Calafrio

[edit]

Hi - I see you reverted the redirect on this article, but really it needs much better sources in order to be kept. At the moment all it contains are two promotional announcements from two not particularly reliable websites. I know the album has just been released, so I'll.wait a while and see if it gets some independent reviews from music magazines or reliable websites. Deletion discussion about Calafrio

[edit]

Hello, Epeu

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Citrivescence and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Calafrio, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Calafrio.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Citrivescence}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
