For some reason, some of my sandboxes have archived discussions. Here is a record of them.

Battery swap

Hi,

Battery swap has nothing to do with supercharging. They are completely different. Battery swap was an idea Tesla considered but then abandoned. They have never built any battery swap station. They have done a demonstration event but no actual swap stations. This is explained in these videos:

Moving stuff from Tdorante10's sandbox

@Epicgenius: Why are you moving stuff from User:Tdorante10's sandbox here? Why not work on it over there.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 17:35, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

@Kew Gardens 613: Thomas puts all of his drafts in one sandbox page. As a result, the page takes a very long time to load. Also, I think he may have abandoned the draft, seeing as how there hasn't been progress on it in three years. epicgenius (talk) 18:19, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
This is fine, I have many other things to work on. Tdorante10 (talk) 19:48, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
@Epicgenius: Fair enough. I haven't had any issues with that page loading.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 19:53, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Track maps

@Epicgenius: Could you add the closed 59th Street station to the great Park Avenue track map you did? Thanks.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 01:40, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

@Kew Gardens 613: Sure. While we're on the topic, are all the tracks bidirectional? I think I remember seeing trains running in both directions on all of the tracks. epicgenius (talk) 01:42, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
@Epicgenius: Yes, they all are.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 01:43, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
@Kew Gardens 613: Thanks very much. I added the 59th Street station. Past the split, are the Harlem/NH Lines in the Bronx also bidirectional, as well as the Hudson Line? epicgenius (talk) 01:50, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
@Kew Gardens 613: Does the Harlem/New Haven Line also have bidirectional express tracks from Melrose station all the way to Woodlawn station? If so, I think the maps and/or the station layouts will have to be changed. epicgenius (talk) 22:20, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
@Kew Gardens 613 and Tdorante10: Thanks for both your responses. It doesn't usually take a long time for the page to load, but sometimes I edit from a mobile hotspot, so my data connection is limited. epicgenius (talk) 20:03, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
