Those red wikilinks you keep adding in don't lead anywhere. Until they do, they are properly wikified already. Your actual contributions would be most welcome, though. Chris 23:40, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am moving this text

I think the scouting pages are arranged in a not so efficient way. Having grown up in boy scouts (and working for them for 7 years) I think that there should be a root BSA directory page with a page for each council. The council camp and OA should be on the same page as the council. Arranging by state does not work well becuase there are multiple states in many councils around the country.

to the Scouting WikiProject page as this has been discussed long before. Chris 23:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:ColoradoFlag.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ColoradoFlag.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:04, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Some time ago I requested it, so I thought a thank you is appropriate. FYI, I listed it in Portal:Israel/New article announcements. Thanks. ←Humus sapiens ну? 08:24, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Foxboulder.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Foxboulder.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

/* Ethnic groups */[edit]

I suggest you refrain from using unresearched and opiniated data in wikipedia. I would like to bring your attention to UN resolutions 478, 497, 465, 446, 484 amongst others conserning the status of the GOlan heights, East Jerusalem, West Bank, the Gaza strip and the Shebaa farms in Lebanon. Alternatively, you can go to wikipedia itself and look what the wiki community has written on that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli-occupied_territories . The links on these decisions are numerous but I am sure you can find out yourself. Please try to be more objective in the future and do some thorough research before posting. cheers ((unsigned))

Israeli Human Rights[edit]

The relevant article Palestinian National Authority mentions charges of corruption, and is the place to contribute any information you have about human rights violations. Actually my understanding is that such violations do happen and are mainly directed against other Palestinians who are alleged to collaborate with the Israelis. The articles about the PLO and Hamas do mention their respective terrorist activities. Again feel free to contribute to any of these articles any well-referenced and relevant information you may have. However whatever Palestinians may have done or many be doing does not entail that human right violations by Israel should therefore go unmentioned in the article about Israel. New article[edit]

Zionism[edit]

I am trying to modify [zionism] for npov and I am interested in your opinion. Jayjg does not want it changed at all and it is way too positive, with almost no critique from sources against zionism. Can you give me your opinon of the article and the comments I made onthe discussion page please? I think that the first step in overcoming issues that prevent world peace is to identify our history for what it really is. Only then can we put the blame where it belongs - on the political figures who use words to get us to buy into their crimes. It is no different in Israel than it is in the U.S. (Olmert wants all jews to support him and Bush wants all patriotic americans to support him), so they use language in a way of achieving that. Today's zionism must be labeled for what it does to people through political means and in addition, the article is written poorly in many many ways. It even goes as far as to say that the overwhelming majority of jewish orgs support zionism without citing a source or saying what aspects of zionism they support. It is a biased article.

Thanks,

East Jerusalem[edit]

Hi, regarding you recent reverts on East Jerusalem. Surely the article is about East Jerusalem and not Israeli national holidays, and it goes without saying that difficulties imposed on residents of East Jerusalem in their daily lives should be mentioned, especially to contrast with a preceding sentence regarding their "rights". Nwe 21:04, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I hope we've reached some sort of agreement on East Jerusalem. By the way, I've reverted a few of your recent edits in other articles, but don't think I'm stalking you. I've just been checking your history (one likes to know the sort of editor one's engaging with), and couldn't helping changing edits I felt were wrong.Nwe 21:50, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the bias and is it inaccurate in the facts it states, and what's wrong with it being written by a religious group? I also never described "daily human rights violations", I believe the phrase to be accurate, but you used it, not me. Whether or not the Arabs of East Jerusalem are Israeli citizens has nothing to do with whether or not they experience hardship in their daily lives. Nor does the fact that the laws that cause this hardship are "in the fair rights of a municipality". You are forgetting that we are only discussing the accuracy of the claim that Arabs in East Jerusalem suffer as a result Israeli laws imposed on them, not the shoddy justification given for these laws? Nwe 22:30, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Your changes made the paragraph extremely slanted. I've tried to correct what I saw as pro-Israeli POV.Nwe 22:50, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think I can mostly agree with this new version, although I might add a sentence on why many Arabs rejected Israeli citizenship?Nwe 23:16, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome[edit]

Sure, enjoy! Thanks for giving me credits. I wouldn't call it "stolen". Borrowed or reused maybe. Cheers. ←Humus sapiens ну? 20:58, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Elite.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Elite.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. WikiProject Israel tags[edit]

Hi, I noticed you are an active member of the project. It seems to me that the number of tagged articles is very low. It was around 350, and I started tagging and now the number approaches 400. Is there a reason for not tagging all Israel-related pages? With many members listed, we should be able to tag more. Derwig 11:49, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You helped choose Vladimir Lenin as this week's WP:ACID winner[edit]

Thank you for your support of the Article Improvement Drive.
This week Vladimir Lenin was selected to be improved to featured article status.
Hope you can help.

Importance and rating in WP Israel TL[edit]

I'll do it unless someone does it first. I don't expect any technical difficulties adding it, but I don't know details. I'm short on time these days. ←Humus sapiens ну? 02:20, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article Rating/Review System[edit]

Happy to see you working on that. Once the rating system is done, we should ask for the project to be included in the assessment script at User talk:Outriggr/metadatatest.js. The script is very useful, it allows the addition of the tag and rating from the main article.Derwig 11:03, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Eric, great job! I have just added the assessments to that cat. Rightly or wrongly - sorry I am in a hurry. Hope I'll have more time later. I'd like to learn that. ←Humus sapiens ну? 20:54, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: AWB Access Request[edit]

Incase you dont see it on the checkpage, as you dont have enough edits for the default criteria, i have offered to do this for you:

Just Looking, you dont have enough edits to meet the normal acceptance criteria. If you would like, if you drop me a message on my talk page, with what you want them tagging with, i can do this with User:Reedy Bot, which has approval for automated talk page tagging, which, tbh, would be quicker than you doing it yourself!! Reedy Boy 11:34, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reedy Boy 12:28, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you still wanting to be considered for AWB? As you may be/probably would be allowed access (which, may help you out). Otherwise, please can you remove your application?
With AWB your edits would be quicker for tagging, but the auto mode with my bot allows for a lot faster, automated tagging =) Reedy Boy 18:21, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP Israel Bot Tagging[edit]

Hi Reedy Boy, The project I am currently working on is tagging all articles (talk pages) in the category Israel and all subcategories with the WikiProject Israel template. {{WikiProject Israel}}. If you can have your bot add that template, it will show up on our assessment statistics and in the categories for articles needing to be tagged, and we can move on to assessing the articles.

Thanks- --יהושועEric 16:06, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Making a start on this. See here for whats been done Special:Contributions/Reedy_Bot Reedy Boy 18:00, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, just as a thought, when im done, do you want me to go through the Stub Categories, and tag all those articles as class=stub? :) Reedy Boy 18:27, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No Problem, happy to do thing such as the stubs, as its a nice automated task =) Will give you a shout when im done Reedy Boy 20:20, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please be patient[edit]

Hello. The bot (above) is going to have another round at it soon (without the errors brought by the subcategories). Please be patient. Thanks. El_C 23:04, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Israel statistics[edit]

I noticed that in the statistics table, data of priority instead of importance is shown (the links point to articles by priority). The project template does not include priority right now. Can this be fixed? Derwig 07:33, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All done --יהושועEric 18:54, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GA tagging[edit]

Hi! I've noticed you reviewed and tagged Alpha Phi Omega as a good article. I don't see it listed in the list of good articles at WP:GA. Could you please add it to an appropriate category on that page (I'd suggest either one of the subcategories under 'culture and society' or 'education') and update the article count. Thanks! Done!--יהושועEric 03:06, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Obsession[edit]

Obsession is not a project of HonestReporting. The filmmakers had an arrangement initially for HR to market the documentary but then it was decided not to align with any particular group. They now have a broad coalition of interest groups who spread the word and conduct community screenings. They appreciate HR’s efforts in promoting the documentary. It did not produce or finance the film. If you wish to continue posting the film in the Aish HaTorah box, please contact info@obsessionthemovie.com
