NBA All-Bubble/Bubble MVP
[edit]There was a lot of discussion at Damian Lillard’s Talk page and at WP:NBA about adding these to player infobox - the decision was not to do so. Please stop re-adding these. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 01:28, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- These awards still don't go in the infobox. Rikster2 (talk) 21:07, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Infobox highlights
[edit]The highlights we typically list in an NBA player's infobox is at WP:NBAHIGHLIGHTS. Can you please establish consensus at WT:NBA if you want to add anything beyond that? Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 07:47, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- I see that you are still making similar edits (and marking them incorrectly as minor edits). Can you at least acknowledge here that you are seeing you talk page messages? Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 07:58, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
January 2021
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Stephen Curry, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Links need to be intuitive per MOS:EGG. For example, you displayed "SoCon Tournament MOP", but linked it to Southern Conference, which has no mention of it. —Bagumba (talk) 09:56, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Damian Lillard. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. You e been told more than once that 5he bubble awards don’t go in player infoboxes. Now the warnings start. Rikster2 (talk) 21:52, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Donte DiVincenzo, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 04:05, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kyle Lowry, you may be blocked from editing. This edit is again unsourced. You are expected to collaborate and respond to others and address concerns that this does not meet WP:NBASTYLE. —Bagumba (talk) 03:05, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tre Jones, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ACC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 15
[edit]An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kris Jenkins (basketball), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Big East Tournament.

All-Big 5 honors
[edit]Please stop adding All-Big 5 honors into infoboxes (e.g. Collin Gillespie). WikiProject College Basketball determined long ago that those honors are not significant enough to be included in a player's infobox. In the prose/body, sure, but not in the infobox. The infobox awards and honors are reserved for only the top achievements at a conference or national level. SportsGuy789 (talk) 18:48, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
I can tell from your talk page that you refuse to engage in collaboration. You already saw this message above yet you continue to add All-Big 5 honors to infoboxes (example). Continuing to do this will result in a block and temporary loss of editing priveleges. SportsGuy789 (talk) 13:30, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, Ericjcross4, I'm an administrator responding to concerns at WP:AIV about your editing actions. Whilst I have declined to block you at this time, your failure to communicate or respond to requests not to perform certain types of edit are of continuing concern. I have advised SportsGuy789 to take you to WP:ANI if these concerns continue. Please engage with other editors, and listen to their requests, or face the consequences. Thank you. Nick Moyes (talk) 21:48, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi I am sorry I will stop I'm still learning and I thought I'd add some but I guess not. Can I add All-World Baseball Classic Teams to award of players? Nick Moyes (talk)
- That would be a question to bring up at WT:BASEBALL. Thanks. SportsGuy789 (talk) 01:40, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
All-Star Game MVP
[edit]I reverted your edits because the AS Game MVP is not a highlight we add to the infobox per Wikipedia:WikiProject Baseball/Player style advice.-- Yankees10 18:16, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Use of the "minor edit" button
[edit]Hi Ericjcross4! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
