Es101, are you the same editor as the anonymous one with the IP-adres starting with 122.62*? Otto 17:21, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Spyvampire, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --OnoremDil 10:53, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK. It's not spam. I don't think it's very notable though. The links provided wouldn't be enough to keep an article for a useful program, so I'm not sure why they make a dangerous program notable. --OnoremDil 11:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

xp-vista[edit]

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for pointing it out. I was using it because it wasn't full of blatant advertising and such and therefore seemed more reputable than most of the sites. Perhaps we should stick to symantec and the other big boys for links? Improbcat 17:04, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You removed links to forums[edit]

Those seem like reasonable links for removal tools. Improbcat 13:26, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This post was not made by me, I believe someone gained access to my account. I have changed my password to hopefully fix this. As I said in the edits summary for this edit, forums are not appropriate wikilinks. Improbcat 13:54, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Antivermins.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Antivermins.JPG. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 05:31, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Dr. Antispy[edit]

I have nominated Dr. Antispy, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr. Antispy. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Drantispysnap.JPG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Drantispysnap.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:SpyVampireAlert.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:SpyVampireAlert.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:18, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Spyvampire has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable malware. There is no reliable sources currently included in the article, and no significant coverage can be found upon searches.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
