Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Esecutech, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:SecuTech Solutions, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. A tag has been placed on Draft:SecuTech Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand the reasons of why my account has been blocked, however, I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I understand that some of the vocabulary used in the article may sound promotional, however, that was never my intention. I am creating this page to create a transparent and non-bias view of the company. Additionally, there is no existing page for SecuTech Solutions which made me want to create a page for information access from a neutral perspective. Esecutech (talk) 01:06, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That would be fine as a new username. There is no misunderstanding here; you have some grave misunderstandings of Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere database of companies where existence warrants inclusion, and is not a place for companies to tell about themselves and what they do. Wikipedia articles, typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the subject, summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say about topics that meet the special Wikipedia definition of notability, such as a notable company. Please read WP:SOLUTIONS, conflict of interest, and paid editing(which includes general employment). You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the line. If you are interested in being a more general contributor and editing about topics for which you have no conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. Once you have a good edit history showing your understanding of relevant policies, you may later be permitted to indirectly contribute about your company, but not now. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:53, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

By trying to use Wikipedia for advertising, you just end up making yourself and your business look silly. Deb (talk) 09:07, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
