Esmith512: Wikipedia Edit Technical Testing "Sandbox"

[edit]

(6 Jan 2008)

[edit]

Hello self and the Wikipedia world!

This is the "sandbox". Previous tests were back in September 2007, which have since been completed. (All that stuff is in Wikipedia's history.)

Sandbox Conclusions

[edit]

This is where I put the Sandbox conclusion information. When there are sandbox operations, the conclusive data goes here. The previous information is in Wikipedia's history, but is obsolete by the end of 2007.

I donated to Wikimedia, 'cause I read Wikipedia almost daily!

[edit]

I cheerfully and proudly donated ¥7777 to help this wonderful organization!
I wish them the very best of luck and success (and will edit, add, and improve things as best I can).
This site has been very educational for me, and has been a very helpful resource in my life. I'm very glad it exists!

(And while I live in the USA, and have since birth, donating in Japanese Yen was more fun.)

My runner-up comment was "To learn is to live!".

I redirected Marriage Strike to Arguments against marriage, discarding the article contents. See the talk page. --Apoc2400 (talk) 18:06, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Marriage Strike My opinion (from Apoc2400's move)

[edit]

All's well. Logic, prudence, truth, and organization prevails. The redirect to Arguments against marriage, a larger-scope section of the central article (and sociological concept/theory) of marriage, is sensible.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
