June 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Felida97. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to SD Tarazona have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi Felida97, thank you for your message. The website Estadios de Espana provides detailed histories of the clubs & stadiums of Spain in far greater detail than is seen on Wikipedia. The website has been running since 2011 and at the current web address since 2019 (Previous iterations can be found on Way Back Machine). It carries no advertising, creates no income and is purely focused on providing an historical insight into Spanish stadia. It is the leading English language source of information on the history & latest news on the large & small stadiums of Spain. Its founder, Chris Clements, has contributed to web articles, publications and podcasts over the past decade, and its companion X/Twitter account has 32k follows, which again creates no income. The purpose of adding the link is simply to provide further insight on a subject which Wikipedia is not designed to provide. I'm more than happy to answer any further questions that you may have. In the meantime, I will not add any further links Estadio España (talk) 11:20, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 10:59, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Estadio España. Thanks for your contributions; however, the external link you added to the article is a blog, not a reliable source. Please read WP:LINKSPAM, WP:NOBLOGS, WP:USERGENERATED. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 11:31, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Annh07, OK, rules are rules.
Thanks for coming back so quickly. Estadio España (talk) 11:37, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username for this account instead, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page (which is this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be in use by another account. You can use this page to search the list of registered accounts and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If your search returns that "there is no global account for [your search term]", that means it is available.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page (which is this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Thank you. Secretlondon (talk) 11:46, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
