[edit]
There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:

Dear Wiki, we are official representatives of the European Film Academy. By editing the Wikipedia page of the European Film Awards, we aim to provide accurate and updated information concerning current regulations, awarding procedures, eligibility criteria and so on. This information has gone through changes in the past years, which unfortunately have not been reflected on relevant Wiki pages. The sources (web-links) that have been used for citing the information that requires updating, which in turn might have been perceived as potential self-promotion materials, are official regulatory documents of the European Film Awards, originals of which can only be found on the official website of the European Film Academy. With absolutely no intent to breach any Wikipedia's policies, cause any “vandalism or inappropriate behaviour”, “advertising or self-promotion”, our interests lie only in providing accurate and current information about the European Film Academy and the European Film Awards. We kindly ask for your understanding, and with reasons above, we appeal this block.

Decline reason:

First, group or shared accounts are not permitted; you will need to select a single individual to exclusively operate this account. In addition, organization names are not permitted as usernames per the username policy of the English Wikipedia.(I am aware other language versions permit this, but this version does not) Regarding your request, Wikipedia has no interest in helping you spread the word about your organization, its awards, selection criteria, and so forth. That's something you should do on a website owned and operated by your organization. Please read about conflict of interest and paid editing, two policies you have violated. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that summarizes what independent reliable sources say about article subjects, and has no interest in what the subject wants to say about itself. If there is incorrect information in articles related to your organization, we want to know what it is, but you should not make the edits yourself. Instead, you should make edit requests, but only if you are interested in being a general contributor. If whomever is chosen to exclusively operate this account is interested in being a general, individual Wikipedia contributor, they will need to agree to not directly edit about things related to their conflict of interest and tell what they will edit about instead. If you just want to tell the world about your Academy and its awards, you will not be unblocked, and should consider alternative outlets.

You will need to follow the instructions in the block notice to simultaneously propose a new username and request unblock. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 19:07, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
