March 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Karna has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://thekarna.wordpress.com/ (matching the regex rule \bwordpress\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 17:29, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 08:15, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —SpacemanSpiff 08:28, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Karna blog requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continuing to add spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. —SpacemanSpiff 20:31, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|About me,i'm gandherva from chennai , i have made several contributions in the karna article in wikipedia you can check my contributions .Then about this block,the external link which i added takes the user to the karna blog where they can discuss and debate about karna, we have also made it sure that we added many information about karna there , (this blog is non profitable blog , and the blog is there just to provide the users with the information about karna just like wiki but we allow users to debate with each other ) i'm sorry for that adding the external link again and again , i couldn't see the warnings which you gave me, because they were in the bottom of the my talk page ,also i have a few doubts about the external links section which is why i posted the same again and again, i thought it was a technical glitch,i would like to talk more on this.i accept my mistake and i gaurantee that i will not add the external links again with out your permission Best regards gandherva}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Based on your explanation above I'm unblocking. However please go through the policies listed above in the welcome message. Any other promotion of your blog will result in a block. Also, see verifiability and reliable sources for how your additions to articles should be sourced. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 02:57, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
