Is Suryavarman khmer language name ?

Suryavarman name came from india orgin language. specially from tamil . Suriyan means Sun. varman is common surname of pallava kings who are ruled northern part of Tamilnadu. once pallava dynasty ended on 9th century(2nd–9th) by chola kings in tamilnadu. their rule started on another part of south asia.

Really? People can call themselves anything they choose. The linguistic origin of a name has nothing to do with the ethnic or geographic origins of the person bearing the name. My name is William, does that mean I am a Norman invader from France? Or a Holy Roman Prince destined to become the ancestor of the Netherlands Monarchy? Or maybe a Gaelic King of Scotland? No, it just means my parents named me William. The Khmer Empire (and in fact, most of Southeast Asia) was heavily influenced by the Indian culture of the time and adopted Sanskrit as a language of religion and government. Consequently, Khmer kings chose their royal names from Sanskrit. It implies no relationship other than that of admiration for the language or culture. I accept you naming formula is not for geographic origins. why I quoted name also. people of the nation can have any name. but kings mostly follow their surname from kingdom origin. 1000 years before the name "varman" popularly used on pallava kings. Pallava's official languages are Tamil,Sanskrit and language where they rule (eg.Khmer).

It is not personal thoughts.Previously I gave many references. It is hidden history. please study more about Pallava_dynasty. There are similar kings in culture,building.He ruled only with different kingdom name. but their origin is from pallava.

All content in Wikipedia articles must be backed up by reliable sources. There is no scholarly source for this ridiculous notion of yours. Yes, the various kingdoms of Southeast Asia were influenced by Indian thought in the areas of religion, government and culture, that is well-known, but that's as far as any connection goes. Every link you've provided simply says that Angkor (like other contemporary polities) was influenced by Indian thought of the era. None of them say that the Khmer kings were Tamil...that is ludicrous on the face of it and no scholar anywhere in the world (not even in India) would say that. You have been warned already, making such edits without sources to back them up (and that, in fact, contradict every existing source) is considered disruptive editing and you can be blocked for such behavior.
