Hayden Panettiere

Sorry I didn't know, but I thought it wouldn't matter since I wasn't attacking another user. --Crackthewhip775 (talk) 23:50, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Don't sweat it. I see you're a fairly new user, and we all make mistakes. :-) faithless (speak) 23:52, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice without biting. I read WP:IRL and NOW I see your point. :) --Crackthewhip775 (talk) 17:04, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Granby Blue Comets

When Granby Street High School opened in 1939, The Virginian-Pilot referred their football team as the "Blue Comets" because they were a lightning fast team and that is how they got their school nickname. Throughout the years, it seems that the "Blue" was dropped from their nickname. You don't hear it nowadays because nobody knows that they are officially the "Blue Comets" unless you look it up. I don't think the current administrators even know that is their official nickname. You can check the research for yourself. 757 Sports Historian (talk)

I'm from Barcelona capitalization

I noticed you moved I'm from Barcelona back to I'm From Barcelona. Since then, I have moved the title back to I'm from Barcelona. I wanted to inform you this was done to comply with Wikipedia's capitalization standards. That is, prepositions under five letters shouldn't be capitalized in title case. The media has a tendency not to capitalize the word "from" (as in Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Letters from Iwo Jima, etc. Xnux the Echidna 03:02, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

National Football League in Toronto

Thanks for reviewing the speedy. As a non-admin, I don't have access to the deleted version, so was unable to make the comparison to see if it qualified as a recreation of a deleted article, or was a substantial improvement. Perhaps the Speedy was not the best method, but it accomplished the purposed of getting it reviewed very quickly. I won't be sending this to AFD, as you've addressed my concerns. Thanks. - BillCJ (talk) 11:20, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Not a problem. Actually, I just sent it to AfD myself (as a procedural nom). While I don't necessarily think it should be deleted, I do think the articles are similar enough that the community should have a look at it and decide if the current incarnation passes muster. After all, the subject of the article hasn't changed since the last article was deleted - an NFL team in Toronto is still a hypothetical possibility at best. This time it's just better sourced. :-) faithless (speak) 11:25, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

OK, sounds good to me. Btw, this is odd! Oh, the joys of open editing! I've not reverted it myself just in case there's something more going on than I know about. - BillCJ (talk) 16:29, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Maria Bartiromo

Hi. Just curious. Do you have a source for this edit? It might be worth adding if you do. ++Arx Fortis (talk) 04:15, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

The date was already in the article (in the infobox). Cheers, faithless (speak) 04:17, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Some guidance required

Hi Faithless. There is this discussion in Talk:List of Dragon Ball characters regarding notability of characters and keep/merge discussions. Discussions are supposed to be made with consensus; however there is a discussion in here: Talk:List of Dragon Ball characters#Cell (Dragon Ball), that has no consensus at all, not even majority. It is a draw 3 vs 3 and they took the decission to close the discussion with only 6 votes and only 5 days of voting. How can I appeal this decision? --LøЯd ۞pεth 01:53, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey Opeth, sorry it's taken me so long to respond, I haven't been online much for the past couple days. Anyway, since it seems to have been just an informal discussion on the talk page, there really isn't any 'official' course of action to take, though of course there are a couple of options. In this instance I'd suggest getting a third opinion. I recommend this as it's a more-or-less informal process, and therefore the best for minor disputes. I happen to agree with you that no consensus was reached, but as we know each other it obviously wouldn't be appropriate for me to become involved (even more so since I agree with you). Hope this helps! faithless (speak) 04:16, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Can you please fix the vandalism on this page, as well as my userpage? Because of the vandalism, I cannot access the history links for either page. The same anon is responsible. Thanks. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 03:50, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. I could not figure out what to do in either case, because I simply could not figure out how to access the history, in order to revert. Any advice? ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 03:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Happy to help. :-) What I did was go to my talk page history, then looked at your contribution history, then followed that to your user page history, where I reverted the vandalism. Then I just looked at the IP contribution history to find the other vandalism. faithless (speak) 03:57, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Almost forgot :O

I still await a reply to this topic. One soon would be greatly appreciated. :) Green caterpillar (talk) 00:35, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
