I appreciate it a lot that you have come to Wikipedia to help us improve swimmer's articles. It's just that sometimes we have to discuss issues we disagree on. Can you give me the url for formal name of swimming championship? I don't think putting 25m is necessary at the end.

Hi, did you mean to reply to my comment at the bottom of the page? In that section (User talk:Fanatic32#2006 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m)) is a link to the official FINA site to the next s/c worlds edition. Not really. We have thousands of such articles across hundreds of events and years, and the consensus has been to append the length. As mentioned below, making changes to things like this needs to be discussed first. There are many things that may seem trivial that have been arrived at through community discussion, and it is generally not considered good form to unilaterally change them. I see you moved the page again, removing the parentheses, without discussing it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Swimming like I suggested below. Unsurprisingly, I moved the page back for the third time in two days. I encourage you again to discuss significant changes you'd like to make with other editors of swimming articles who are likely more experienced in the conventions of article naming and the reasons behind it. Can you at least explain why you think the 2006 article should have a different name format than, for example, the 2004 and 2008 articles of the same tournament? What exactly do you need help with? When you upload an image, first make sure it is free content (not copyrighted, see Wikipedia:Image use policy). Then, read this for further steps: Wikipedia:Uploading images. Here you can upload: Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard. I'm not sure about if that image is free content, if in doubt you can ask the owner, or ask for help at the Teahouse. You can also get assistance at Wikipedia:Files for upload. Capitals[edit]

Hi, about your question about using capitals for 'medal', Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters says Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization. It doesn't make an exception for 'medal'. Why do you think that using a capital makes the article easier to read? Taehwan Park[edit]

Hello, just so you know, even though this is the English Wikipedia, there is a longstanding consensus that Korean names should start with the family name, unless the subject is confirmed (and cited) to prefer otherwise. 2006 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m)[edit]

Hi, why did you move this page (dropping the "(25 m)") without moving all the other editions (such as 2014 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m)) to the same name format? Names of different editions of a tournament should have the same name (except for the year). Even if FINA uses the name you prefer (which I doubt, see e.g. the name for the next edition which includes "(25 m)"), names should be consistent.
