Your draft article, Draft:The Dying Arts

[edit]

Hello, Fangirlpunk. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Dying Arts".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:The Dying Arts}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 20:31, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@PerfectSoundWhatever:

Hi PerfectSoundWhateverPerfectSoundWhatever, thank you for reviewing my article. I swapped out a couple of references to what might be perceived as 'self-published', I left one: Alan Cross's blog (a well known music critic) because I pulled a quote from him. If my changes weren't enough do you mind specifying if there are any other problematic sources? There are so many citations I'd be only guessing, and I think the remainders meet the cut -- or like the BlogTO concert listing I cited to backup that a specific show happened.
Thanks for your time! Fangirlpunk (talk) 16:29, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, here's a quick source review:
Please remember that, per WP:MINREF, contentious statements about living people must have an inline citation. So, if you remove a citation, don't leave the statement unreferenced. So you know, I'll leave the AfC review of this article to someone else in case you re-submit it. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 22:04, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for taking the time! The article will survive if I can't find suitable replacements for these, thanks. Fangirlpunk (talk) 22:22, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
