License tagging for Image:Viking XPRS.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Viking XPRS.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

SuperSeaCat / Tallink / Silja monopoly[edit]

I'm a bit mystified as to why you removed the monopoly statements from the Silja Line article, as that was the reason why the SSC's weren't included in the sale (though the line should have read "practical monopoly" I guess). First, thank you. You are doing a great job yourself. Regarding the monopoly statement, both Eckerö, Viking, Nordic Jet and now Linda Line gives Tallink competition on the route in question. If the SSC:s belonged to Tallink, they would surely have a big market share but not close of a monopoly. That's my opinion. I'll try and look up the correct term for it. Essentially if Tallink had also controlled the SSC's their market share would have been so big that the officials in Finland and Estonia would not have approved of the sale. At least in the Finnish cources this is referred to as a mnopoly even though it isn't one in the precise meaning of the word. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
