License tagging for File:Algeria FA.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Algeria FA.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Your recent page moves[edit]

They have proved controversial. Please feel free to come and discuss this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Al-Ahly. --EchetusXe 00:21, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The vast majority of your edits on the English Wikipedia appear to be bold and often controversial page moves. Please stop this until such point as the present discussion at WT:FOOTY has reached some consensus as to whether or not these are appropriate, as undoing such moves can be difficult and time-consuming. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward: not at work) - talk 19:49, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just to reiterate the last user's point, please do not rename club's without going through the proper procedure. You have made a number of controversial changes without any consultation and are simply creating more work for others. If you want to rename a club, please add the proper tag to the article and the reason why you should think it should renamed! TonyStarks (talk) 05:43, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I was referring to the MC Alger page. There is no reason to change the club's name to the English spelling of the city because all English media uses the name MC Alger anyway. Check the club's page on FIFA.com and BBC.com, among other sites. Saha eidek, take care. TonyStarks (talk) 10:45, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why add FC to all Saudi Arabian clubs ?????[edit]

why and why. Hms911 (talk) 00:41, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Hms911, I add "FC" only to Al-Hilal FC, Ettifaq FC, Ittihad FC (Jeddah) & Al-Nassr FC because these teams are the ominsports clubs and each one have a football section and that's the correct name of these football teams, u can know only there logos, u will found "FC" near the name. --Faycal.09 (talk) 13:40, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please revise your changes[edit]

Dear Faycal.09, I have noticed that you have moved Al Wasl Football Club to Al Was Sports Club, but they are actually two separate pages. There already is a Wikipedia article for AlWasl Club, the pages you changed were dedicated for the Football team only, not the whole club. Please revise your changes.

Thank you for your message Dear, ...Hmm yes there is a probleme and I understand you. However the correcte name of the football team is Al Wasl Sports Club, so if you want I propose the nomination Al Wasl Sports Club (football), what did u think ? --Faycal.09 (talk) 13:45, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually there are two different entities. One is called "Al Wasl Sports Club" which covers a lot of sports, and the other is called "Al Wasl Football Club" which has a separate administration and staff, even separate payroll and sponsors. It is referred to as "Al Wasl Football Company ar:شركة الوصل لكرة القدم" sometimes[1].
I propose to rename AlWasl Club to AlWasl SC and revise the current Al Wasl SC to Al Wasl FC.--Jaberm (talk) 10:56, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes i'm allright to revise the current Al Wasl SC to Al Wasl FC, and i propose to revise the current AlWasl Club to Al Wasl SC. --Faycal.09 (talk) 13:12, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, please go ahead with the changes. Thanks Faycal. --Jaberm (talk) 20:45, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Faycal for the change. Can you please make sure that it is replicated in all the related articles as well? For example Al Wasl F.C. season 2009–10 was changed to 2009–10 Al Wasl SC season. Can you change it back? Thanks.
You're welcome dear Jaberm, ok i will do that.Thanks. --Faycal.09 (talk) 13:44, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Nabil Maaloul requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Orashmatash (talk) 16:47, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
