Hungarians in Backa

[edit]

You need to do something like I. First take census data of territory which is today Vojvodina. Then look on internet, or for what has been happening in Vojvodina between 1991 and today. Now you have everything needed for new article which will have name: Hungarians of Serbia. If you do not know in which way to do this look articles Serbs of Croatia and Croats of Serbia. Last article is mine and in that is very good shown how number of Croats has fallen for more of 50 % during 40 years (in reality this article is answer on article Serbs of Croatia). It is weird that this happen in country which is never supporting assimilation, genocide and similar stuff. My last help about how to do this article is way in which I have made Croats of Serbia. You can say that it has been copy of article Serbs of Croatia which has been made in greatest part by Serbian users. Do not forget write little about Yugoslav nationality because great percent of that has been national minority (Hungarians). --Rjecina 17:59, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe even You misundarstand what I want. I don't want - at first glance - to prove that Panonian is wrong, and the truth is something else. Since this is a sensitive topic, there are different viewpoints, maybe every 26 ethnic groups have they own different "stories". The most important of them - I think - the Serbian and the Hungarian viewpoints, since this territory belonged to either Serbia or Hungary in the past few decades. Panonian summarized only the Serbian viewpoints, and the Hungarian viewpoint, which differs from the Serbian is neglected, but this contradicts with one of the Wikipedia NPOV principles. In fact there is already an aricle Hungarians in Vojvodina, but now it doesn't matter. In fact, do you know someone who can perfom a judgement in such a neverending disputes? You are not first or last which is in wiki revert war with PANONIAN. He like to thing about himself that he is nationalist. I have seen his article Hungarians in Vojvodina and for me is weird that you agree in his thinking with this statement:"The future of Vojvodinian Hungarians is uncertain, as their community is characterized by low birthrates and a dwindling population." He want to sell this in my article Croats of Serbia but my answer on discussion page has been similar to:"Yes only Serbians know how to make baby in Serbia". About help for judgement I can give you this users which has been given to me: User:Ronline User:Dahn User:Dc76 User:Zello User:Fz22 User:Biruitorul User:K. Lastochka User:KissL User:Olessi User:Maartenvdbent User:KIDB. I am fighting with PANONIAN few months in my try to block his serbian wiki propaganda. --Rjecina 14:01, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There are 3 issues which lowers the absolute number of ethnic Hungarian people in Vojvodina: the low birth rate, the migration and the assimilation. The relative number is lowered by the Serbian colonisation. Thanks for the contacts! Fcsaba 10:36, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Be free to enter interesting discussion for deleting of PANONIAN map Image talk:Serbia1918.png. --Rjecina 14:20, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's a very interesting map, really. Pécs belonged to Serbia for a short while, after the first world war. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baranya-Baja_Republic. There are interesting maps which show Hungary with the smallest borders (the whole eastern part belongs to Romania, southern parts to Serbia etc.) And another interesting issue it has: probably you know there was a refernedum 5th December 2004 asking whether people want Hungary to give Hungarian national status to ethnic Hungarian people living outside Hungary. During the campaign an organization there was a map showing that Pécs belongs to Serbia and Kolozsvár (Romanian: Cluj-Napoca) belongs to Hungary. There were a few days when that was the fact: the Serbs (with help of the French troops) already occupied Pécs but the Romanians hadn't yet reached Kolozsvár. These borders were de facto, but not de jure borders. (The aim of the map was to tell the people living in Pécs: it is their luck that they can live now in Hungary, and please say yes for the Hungarian national status for Hungarian people living let's say in Kolozsvár.) So I really don't want this map to be deleted. Fcsaba 10:36, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm going to have to get back to you on that soon (I didn't get a chance to look into it). Dahn 18:17, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PANONIAN

[edit]

I really do not know what has happen with him. You need to ask PaxEquilibrium . Maybe he know (his thinking of PANONIAN is very good). What has happened with you ? --Rjecina 14:20, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About changes my only comment is that I feel sick if I need to look all PANONIAN edits on wiki. His number of changes has been 500 in less of 20 days. This is too much work. I have become policeman for edits about Croats and Serbs. My only thinking is that you do something similar for Hungary and Serbia. --Rjecina 20:16, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My opinion of Panonian is twofold:

  • It is a positive attribute that he creates so many articles and maps. It is really easier say that something is not good rather than to do something.
  • But:
  • He is extremist. And this is especially strange that he supports the Liberal-Democratic Party. If an LDP fan thinks so, hat do the radcals and communists think?
  • He cannot accept that there exist many viewpoints, and maybe not his viewpoint the only truth.
  • He got into logical fallacies many times. And the result is many times that Hungarians want to perform genocide against Serbs.

I've put some userboxes on my user page.

In the past few weeks I've created some new articles on the Hungarian Wikipedia, or helped other people to translate. Fcsaba 19:23, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My thinking is good of anyone who doesn't blatantly brake Wikipedia's rules, like User:Bormalagurski or User:Afrika paprika. He has suddenly stopped editing on 1 September, which is (perhaps) the end of (his?) summerbreak. Well, PANONIAN has between 20,000-30,000 edits...:))) However "investigation" is a normal thing - I studied for weeks restlessly the edits of the ol' User:Emir Arven, until finally enough obscene ethnic hatred towards anything Croatian and Serbian was revealed that I have come to the decision an arbitration must be initiated (which I did, with a Croatian user). However, when he saw it, he just stopped editing - and now he edits only the Bosnian Wikipedia (where he is one of the leading administrators). :) --PaxEquilibrium 11:43, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
