Feedback on your article[edit]

Hello FelicitasMaria, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. I especially will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.

  • Intro sentence: Mention the translation of the title is in English. Please change the curly brackets (template) to square brackets to create a link. Please mention the nationality and profession of the author.
  • Links: A good start, but more internal links are needed. Please look for more keywords in your article and link them to other Wikipedia articles. Including: "Berlin", "Leipzig", "First World War", and more.
  • Headers: Concerning "Style and Context" it is not needed to have the C capitalised, but I see no reason why these two subjects should be merged, as no relationship between the two is mentioned. I would suggest to split it into two sections. Both sections need a broader description.
  • References: Each Wikipedia article must be based on multiple sources. Please add more sources and references to the article. Your current references are not added in the right way. Please look on your cheatsheet and in other Wikipedia articles how to add references.
  • Context/timeframe: A good start, but more is welcome!
  • How was the book received: Missing!
  • Other: The section of Content looks like a book report. Wikipedia articles are never a book report, but write about books in an encyclopedic style. Please go look for other Wikipedia articles how it is done there. What are the differences with your article?

I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 11:48, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello FelicitasMaria, Thank you for improving your article! Last week we specifically asked to make sure you add sources/references to your article, because that is one of the most important parts of a Wikipedia article. We also wanted to make sure the intro sentence/section is ready. Let's see how it is going now.
  • Intro sentence: Good!
  • Links: Good!
  • Headers: okay
  • References: Sufficient sources used, but more are welcome! A small detail: add references behind the dot and no space between the dot and the reference. Please add if possible also references in the section "Content" to where certain parts come from in the book, like the chapter or page.
  • Context/timeframe: Good improvement! If you can expand it this would be welcome, if possible. Only "Consequently, the field of psychology grew even further through the findings of Erismann." is a sentence I find strange.
  • How was the book received: As the article is about the book, I am wondering why you choose to focus on the author instead with section "Receptions of Theodor Erismann"? If you have troubles finding other sources, you can ask for help.
Keep up the good work! Romaine (talk) 03:48, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi FelicitasMaria, The image you had requested to be scanned has been kept (and not deleted) because it is too simple to be copyrighted. I just added it to your sandbox article. Romaine (talk) 02:35, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
