According to this draft:

British Culture Archive is a non-profit organisation and platform for British documentary photography based in Manchester, UK. [...] The British Culture Archive crowdsourced the People's Archive, established in 2017 for crowdsourced images of everyday life in Britain.

But according to britishculturearchive.co.uk:

British Culture Archive is the online resource for The People’s Archive, a non-profit organisation set up to document, highlight and preserve the changes in British culture and society through documentary photography.

Now, it's conceivable that some intern or other harried person at britishculturearchive.co.uk has got the facts the wrong way around, but this seems very unlikely.

Until I edited it, the article said:

The British Culture Archive crowdsourced archive The People's Archive was established in 2017 as an important documentation of crowdsourced images of everyday life in Britain.

I could hardly parse that, and guessed that it meant:

The British Culture Archive crowdsourced the People's Archive, established in 2017 for crowdsourced images of everyday life in Britain.

and tentatively reworded it accordingly. However, this crowdfunding page suggests that British Culture Archive was an organization (calling itself not an "organisation" or an "NPO" but instead a "resource") that crowdfunded itself and (at that point) was only dreaming of a People's Archive.

So what happened? This is a promising draft about what looks like a worthwhile and notable organization/website/archive, but more clarity is needed before launch as an article.
