Welcome back[edit]

Hope your exams went OK. You've missed some fun on the BNP page, but so did I mostly having spent most of June in France to coincide with the elections there. Anyway, a self-confessed Nazi using various aliases managed to wind everyone up with repeated edits that were so POV as to be positively painful! Seems he/they have given up for a while, following several bannings. Emeraude 10:46, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copied Images[edit]

I'm curious about these images you've marked for deletion. In the tags, you say they are somebody else's pictures which you uploaded accidentally. But in the edit summaries when you uploaded them, you indicated specifically that you took them yourself. Are there any other images you've uploaded which this applies to? Have you tried asking the photographer's permission to release the images under the GFDL? Thanks. -- But|seriously|folks  07:02, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, got it. All the ones you tagged have been deleted. Thanks for straightening that out. -- But|seriously|folks  08:43, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use disputed for Image:Passage to arcturo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Passage to arcturo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:24, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Stillborn Climax.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Stillborn Climax.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:37, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Destruction Derby 2 Cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 03:45, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bondage Queen Kate Cover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bondage Queen Kate Cover.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 10:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Triarchy of lost lovers.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Triarchy of lost lovers.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Would you be interested in joining a WikiProject devoted to Lancashire?[edit]

Hi, I have noticed that you are from Lancashire and I was wondering if you have heard of the new WikiProject group of WikiProject Lancashire and Cumbria. If you are interested in joining please feel free to become a paricipant and help us achive our goals. If you do join I am looking forward to your contributions. 93gregsonl2 (talk) 21:01, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bondage Queen Kate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Search for reliable third-party sources comes up empty handed. No reviews on Mania.com (formally AnimeOnDVD) or Anime News Network (ANN). Reviews by Hentaineko and Animetric.com are not reliable as they fail the test for self-published sources and AbsoluteAnime.com and ANN's Encyclopedia are not considered reliable as they are user edited. (see WP:ANIME/RS).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Farix (t | c) 13:11, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Bondage Queen Kate, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bondage Queen Kate. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. —Farix (t | c) 14:44, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Non Serviam.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Non Serviam.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:03, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
