Hi Celia Homeford, thanks for your message and thank you for your many edits on my copy on other articles too. I'm still figuring out how it all works on Wikipedia, so please forgive any missteps. I will try to rewrite the text in a better way. I do, however, still feel that Debrett's is a reliable source.

Hello. Just noticed that you changed several parts in the same article that used the phrase "The Duchess". While it is true that she is not "The Duchess of York", I haven't seen sources argue that in the context of a sentence she should not be referred to as "the Duchess". For instance, the official website of the royal family refers to Diana, Princess of Wales as "The Princess" multiple times, despite the fact that she was a divorced peeress and not "The Princess of Wales" anymore. Hi, Keivan.f, thanks for your message. Yes, I edited that last week on the basis that the Debrett's source suggested she isn't a duchess. I've also now tried to not use original research in my edits. If you feel that she should be referred to as a duchess, then feel free to edit the article.
