I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Proposed deletion of MC Steppa[edit]

The article MC Steppa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article does not meet the general notability guidelines - for inclusion, an article requires significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. I cannot find such coverage, so this seems to fail the WP:BIO requirements.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Chzz  ►  21:37, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of MC Steppa for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article MC Steppa is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MC Steppa until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. - TheMagnificentist 18:20, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Fiibroptik I have added projects Biography, United States, to your article. You may wish to join them, check their to-do, and meet new people with interest in these topics. ( To reply click "edit" next to this section, and add your reply at the end. ) Cheers, --Gryllida (talk) 05:02, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The 'draft' banner at the top of the article has a Editor resources -> find sources section. Please use that to see whether there are any larger news sites or books or other important sources (which are not so focused as what you have already got) which contain additional information. This is important. Please do it as soon as it is convenient for you.
Please query the projects linked above at their talk pages for help, if needed.
Thank you in advance. Gryllida (talk) 05:03, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello --Gryllida Many thanks for your input and advice. I have added more citations and more resourses. I hope this will aid the article in being published soon as it's been in draft since 9th December 2018. Many thanks (Fiibroptik (talk) 18:16, 12 January 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Thanks for making your changes. A couple more tips:
1) As a next step I would suggest to remove external links from the article body. Move them to the external links section and if some of them have an album for example at discogs then the album can be linked instead of linking to each item.
2) The article is a little bit too long I would suggest to avoid addition of lists in your next submissions.
3) For more help please query experts in these topics such as at talk pages of WikiProject Record Production and WikiProject Biographies Gryllida (talk) 19:55, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:DJ Ron has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:DJ Ron. Thanks! Whispering(t) 21:35, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Whispering(t) Many thanks for your advice. I've removed all citations to discogs and just referenced the external link to the profile. I have cited RollDaBeats instead as this seems to be more in keeping with other DJ/ Producer profiles who are notable in electronic dance music. I hope that is more in line with protocol? Re: Draft:DJ Ron. Thanks! Fiibroptik (talk) 15:45, 18 January 2019 (UTC) [reply]

License tagging for File:LIONDUB-.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:LIONDUB-.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:30, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DJ Ron[edit]

Great stuff for creating an article for Ron earlier this year - had considered it myself. Have added link to this article from his existing entry on Kool London 94.72.231.204 (talk) 11:17, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:25, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Peshay.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Peshay.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:01, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
