If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Fintech Robos - For Savings & Pensions Apps, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. January 2024[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Seraphimblade Talk to me 11:52, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't it a bit harsh to block a person who was trying to publish her first article? You could have corrected me if it sounded like an ad or a promotional statement (for which I sincerely apologize), and I would have changed it right away. If you are willing to give me a second chance and unblock my account, I would really appreciate it. Fintech Robos (talk) 06:40, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You can follow the instructions above. You would be required to follow the instructions above to select a different user name, as well as to agree to make the mandatory disclosures for paid editing and to follow the conflict of interest requirements. If you actually do that, I would be willing to consider unblocking your account, but no, it is not particularly "harsh" to block spammers. Seraphimblade Talk to me 07:34, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I want to assure you that it was not my intention to promote any particular entity, but rather to provide informative content. Upon reviewing the feedback, I can see how certain elements of the article may have given the wrong impression. I would like to express my willingness to address these concerns and make the necessary revisions to ensure compliance with Wikipedia's guidelines.I request for an opurtunity to fix the mistake

Decline reason:

Oh come off it. If that was a demonstration of you writing non-promotional content, you manifestly lack sufficient competence to edit Wikipedia. I think, though, you knew it was promotional. You have not addressed your violations of WP:USERNAME and WP:COI and won't be unblocked to write about Fintech Robos or anything else for which you have a conflict of interest. If this is your only goal, this is the end of the line. Yamla (talk) 11:12, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
