Scottish inventions and discoveries[edit]

In June, you added several citations to books published by Icon Group International. Icon Group International is not a reliable source - their books are copied from Wikipedia. Fences&Windows 20:52, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Really? I wasn't aware these citations from Icon Group Publishing was copied from wikipedia? I thought as a publishing group it would be a credible source. I will not cite from the company again.Fionaven (talk) 21:31, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • Sadly, yes. The "Webster's Quotations" series published by Icon Group International is computer-generated, with most of the text copied from Wikipedia (most entries have [WP] by them to indicate this). I'm removing a lot of similar references; many other editors have also been deceived by these sources. Fences&Windows 21:40, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
