I created the disambiguation page because there was a request for a page to be created for both to be created under Wikipedia:Requested articles/Other categorization schemes. If this was created in error, I would appreciate if you take the appropriate action because I really do not know very much about Battery Creek High School. I was merely disambiguating the page as there were requests for two separate articles which linked to the same page. Thank you. I'm sorry, but I really need to sleep now. -- Ouishoebean / (talk) 17:35, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove anything from your talkpage even if the matter has been resolved. A talkpage serves as a record of what really happened, so if you remove it, you are removing another person's version of events. If you would like to do so, you could Archive your talkpage. Also, if the matter has been resolved, perhaps you could acknowledge it below what I have said. Thank you. -- Ouishoebean / (talk) 03:02, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The disambig creation and page move were reverted, as well I updated the source request page ( Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/High schools/US/South Carolina ) to reflect that the school is in Beaufort not Burton. Flamesplash 03:11, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for doing that, and once again, I apologize if I have mistakenly created a page. After all, everyone makes mistakes =) -- Ouishoebean / (talk) 13:34, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Crossroads title sequence.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crossroads title sequence.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:25, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Jad Abumrad

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Jad Abumrad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rtphokie (talk) 20:11, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jad Abumrad

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jad Abumrad, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Jad Abumrad. Thanks for uploading Image:SCGSSM logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 01:50, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CfD nomination of Category:Scratchcard

[edit]

I have nominated Category:Scratchcard (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Wizardman 01:46, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to the article, however at this time we have nothing at all to report so it really functions better as a redirect to BioShock#Sequels. Let me know if you have any questions on this. –xeno (talk) 16:50, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:DrCharlesKroger.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:DrCharlesKroger.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Thank you. DASHBot (talk) 00:24, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dead Space 3 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. elektrikSHOOS (talk) 19:35, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Inner beauty

[edit]

Hello Flamesplash,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Inner beauty for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
