I'd like to apologize for some of the templates and reverts you've received of late for good faith edits. They aren't warranted, and some were made by users who also don't have that much experience. I would generally listen to whatever Power~enwiki said above, as he's been around a fair amount and has his head on straight. It also might be a good idea if you're trying to be a regular contributor to create a user page so you get less templates. You are also free to remove the ones above, if you wish. Not a problem. The note also has the advantage of letting other administrators and users know to look closer at your edits before blocking, which is part of why I left it. Anyway, the links power left at the top of the page gives you a good overview of how Wikipedia works. Good reading, especially if you are going to be editing in controversial areas. The article Nation of immigrants seems like a spin-off of Immigration to the United States or History of immigration to the United States. Also, the title and scope is somewhat vague: is the topic of the article the phrase Nation of immigrants (and its relation to US culture), or the history of immigration policy and the contributions of immigrants? If the latter, the content is probably better off being discussed in one of the aforementioned articles, and/or some of the articles found Template:Immigration to the United States. Ideally, we want to avoid or minimize Content forking: the creation of multiple articles or article section covering the same subject. --Animalparty! (talk) 01:27, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
