Links[edit]

Do you suppose the irredentist links on User:Balkania's page are inappropriate? The ones about the illegal irredentist movement in Bulgaria and those in Greece and Bulgaria? Or I they something you can still have? Or it is just a question of interpreting the rules? --Laveol T 19:56, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its not clear cut. If we go by Wikipedia:User page, three external links cannot be considered excessive information. I removed the images because they were (and their captions) in my opinion excessive. The external links are just what they are, with no interpretation so I left them. I would not say those organizations are illegal, they exist but are not legally recognized. Whether they are or not irredentist is another story. Please go easy[edit]

Here's a request. Please take it a bit more easy with the Macedonians, their image uploads and their user pages. Your behaviour against Revizionist is crossing the line into harassment, and edit-warring over that other guy's user page is also not the best idea. There's a strong impression you are using copyright concerns as a stick to hit your POV opponents with, which is not good.

I suggest if you have genuine concerns over dodgy images, in the future better refrain from repeated taggings and templating uploaders, just give a short note to me or some other admin and we'll sort it out. Fut.Perf. 16:37, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Understood. Maybe you should warn Revizionist for incivility. Look at this profane comment (right at the bottom of the diff, in Cyrillic): [1]. If you care I can email you translation. ForeignerFromTheEast 16:53, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New user[edit]

What do you make of this when you compare it to this or this? Could it be that Alex is finally back - I was wondering when he'd be tempted again? I was first amazed by some of his edit summaries and than comes that similar pattern in their contribs. Oh, and of course the way he picks whom to accuse ;) --Laveol T 00:55, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But maybe this says it all. Гузен-негонен бяга, а? (in English: He starts running before you knew he is the one to chase) --Laveol T 00:58, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure you'd love to join in. --Laveol T 21:08, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Macedonia edit[edit]

Hey there, I noticed that you reverted my edit on Republic of Macedonia, no problem at all. Only posting this here to let you know that the reason this was removed by myself is that this version had the reference next to Makedonya Cumhuriyeti, and I removed the Turkish name (as it is in no way an official language of Macedonia), and that tag being next to the Turkish name, removed that tag as a stray in my next edit. But now I see that it prob should have been next to the Albanian name all along. Cheers. --Russavia 06:01, 18 October 2007 (UTC) [reply]

About the Bulgarians in the late Ottoman Thessaloniki[edit]

I've made one small addition about the Bulgarians in the late Ottoman Thessaloniki, Bulgarian educational institutions in the town and the foundation of IMRO. I'm afraid that information, which is important part of the Balkan history, could be erased because of misunderstanding or nationalism. Please, get involved if necessary. Tose Proeski[edit]

The battle about his origin still continues. Our Macedonian friends do believe that he was born in... Republic of Macedonia, not in Yugoslav federal unit, called Socialist Republic of Macedonia. I'm afraid the invention of modern ethnic Macedonian mythology is shifting from Samuil and Gotse to a newer hero... Greetings, Wickedpedian 17:21, 22 October 2007 (UTC) [reply]

substing user warnings[edit]

When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. MKoltnow 03:52, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Sorry! ForeignerFromTheEast 03:53, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
