Welcome!

Hello, Fouredits, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Fouredits, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Corvus cornixtalk 00:13, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Fouredits, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your contributed article, Four days and ten edits

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Four days and ten edits. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - WP:Autoconfirmed. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at WP:Autoconfirmed - you might like to discuss new information at [[Talk:WP:Autoconfirmed|the article's talk page]].

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Baseball Watcher 00:22, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Udakumbura. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Corvus cornixtalk 00:29, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was just told this about an article I created.

      1. All articles must be notable and supported by reliable sources
      2. The ref had nothing to do with the article
      3. Hangon does not guarantee it will stay, it shows a full reasoning has been added for keep, for the admins to read before deletion.

The article I tagged had no reliable source and the ref has nothing to do with the article. I sense a double standard. Fouredits (talk) 00:32, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. Keep claiming that, it will work well when you're blocked finally, which, the way you're going, is inevitable. Corvus cornixtalk 00:33, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The article I tagged had one source that was bogus. Do you disagree? Fouredits (talk) 00:34, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Udakumbura has no refs, just one valid WP:EL  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:36, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If I hadn't disagreed, I wouldn't have removed the speedy deletion tag. What name did you used to edit under? Corvus cornixtalk 00:37, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
When I create an article with no refs, it gets deleted. When I tag an article with no refs for deletion, I get a warning that I'm vandalisming. Can you please explain to me what I'm doing wrong other than just being new? What do you mean by used to edit under? Fouredits (talk) 00:38, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You know about policies. You know about the talkback template, though you don't use it properly. You know how to use speedy deletion tags. It's clear you're not a new editor. Corvus cornixtalk 00:41, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Rorshacma (talk) 00:39, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for trolling (also, talk page and email access removed). If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
