  • You see that, Fox, it's a nice bunch of folks. I've made you a sandbox to play in. Dr Aaij (talk) 01:56, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fox, in regards to this edit, I'm afraid you will have to find a more reliable source than the artist's own webpage. Remember: reliable sources are independent of the subject. What you can do is search for the song title in Google News (and its archives) or in Google Books (and Google Books also indexes Billboard magazine, a very reliable source). Good luck! Dr Aaij (talk) 22:58, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ouch, more problems: that note you added is about a different song and as such doesn't belong in this article. If you look at LeAnn Rimes and search for "how do i live" you'll find this very fact mentioned, with a reference to an article from People magazine. So I'm afraid you'll have to find something else to add...search for the song "one way ticket" and see if you find something interesting? Dr Aaij (talk) 23:01, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Fox1109, go through the databases to find news sources for this subject--like this search. Apparently there have been a number of controversies in the school's history, including a law suit in 1996. Since the school is a college prep school, it is probably automatically notable, but if you want to make this an interesting article you'll have to do more than just describe it. Also, I removed the mission statement--that's not usually deemed neutral information on Wikipedia. Good luck, Dr Aaij (talk) 02:19, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alabama Christian Academy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — ZjarriRrethues — talk 08:08, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
