Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Francis John Patrick M. Vicente, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Francis Vicente, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Information icon Hello, I'm Auric. I noticed that you recently removed content from Francis Vicente without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Reminder

[edit]

Hi, good day. First you should ask me first my consent to anything that will be placed on the created wikpedia. May i remind you that there are corresponding laws that is related to a privacy of a person. I did not allow anyone to create such thing. Which i myself can create such wikpedia of me. YOU ARE USING MY NAME without my knowledge and consent. IGNORANCE of PHILIPPINE LAW EXCUSES NO ONE. I am the one that should be doing this not you or anybody else. Please refer to philippine law on privacy. Although i am one of those public figure as people say but you need to have my consent. Please let us not create situations that someday we might regret doing it. MY NAME IS NOT FOR YOUR USAGE. Francis John Patrick M. Vicente (talk) 11:31, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but the Law of the Philippines does not apply here. As I stated before, see WP:OWNERSHIP, which explains that no particular person owns a page, regardless of identity. In fact, as you have stated that you are the one represented by the article, you should explain your changes on the talk page of the article, rather than simply deleting it. See WP:AUTOBIO for a longer explanation of this. You should also be aware that quoting laws here may give the impression that you are contemplating legal action. This is a good way to get blocked, so please avoid this. (see WP:LEGAL for more detail). I hope this post has helped you understand.--Auric talk 13:04, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder

[edit]

I dont need to explain to you anything. You should be the one explaining why you created such wikpedia of me. Do you get what i am trying to tell you. Francis John Patrick M. Vicente (talk) 11:33, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I did not create the article. Hariboneagle927 (talk · contribs) was the one you should address.--Auric talk 12:54, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I understand.

[edit]

Then what is your purpose of creating something about me without asking my permission or anything? That is my question. Francis John Patrick M. Vicente (talk) 16:24, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Subject

[edit]

Am i the one who created this page. Isnt it, it say that you own the page. My question is who created this page first? It was edited by certain names. You own the page but i own my right not to be posted or written in wikpedia. I should be the one me myself creating my own. Who created this first? Francis John Patrick M. Vicente (talk) 16:31, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As I said before, I did not create the page, Hariboneagle927 (talk · contribs) did. You can read the first version at the diff here. Neither I, nor you, nor they own it.--Auric talk 17:41, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Guidance

[edit]

How may i address this things? Can you guide me on this? What is the best way to delete or remove it? Can you guide me on this. Thank you very much. Francis John Patrick M. Vicente (talk) 17:49, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You may want to read our policy on biographies of living people. Ideally, a biographic Wikipedia article about a living person will not report anything that has not already been published before by reliable sources. Moreover, our requirements of notability should make sure that articles are only written about persons with a certain level of public appearance. So there is no consent needed from the individual described in the article.
If you feel that certain parts of the article are misrepresented or untrue, please use the article talk page to start a discussion. Other editors will then check your concerns and change the text if needed. Deleting the entire page at your request should only be the last resort and will need approval from a number of univolved editors. De728631 (talk) 18:56, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
