A tag has been placed on The clay, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. janejellyroll 04:32, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is a screen cap hahahahaha. Is it illegal to use one for an article photo? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Franz madrid (talkcontribs) 12:11, 26 April 2007
Screen caps can be used if they meet the criteria for fair use. Regardless, if you want it to have a chance to be used (i.e. not deleted) you should change the license tag that you placed on the file to show that it is a screen cap and add a fair use rationale. After that, you may want to pop by WP:PUI#April 26 and note what you have done to close it there. --After Midnight 0001 16:01, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I need help!

[edit]

I am trying to create an article for Miss Ireland 2001 Lesley Turner. She competed at the miss Universe 2001 pageant but I did not see her there. And I have another problem. There is another Lesley Turner, Lesley Turner Bowry. Please help me.

First, is the person notable? If so, create a disambiguous page as well as the page in question, (i.e. Lesley Turner (Ireland)). Real96 12:37, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, she was a favorite among the Miss Universe 2001 delegates... is that notable? :-) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Franz madrid (talkcontribs) 05:30, 30 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Yes it is notable. By the way, have you ever thought about joining this Wikiproject? Real96 15:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{help me}}

I made an article on Lesley Turner, the beauty queen, and if possible, could you help me create a disambig page to Lesley Turner (Miss Ireland)?

Since there are only two names (that I see) and there is in fact a subtle difference in names, I would suggest the following:

Re: Hi there!

Hi kurarachibana. Unfortunately Adrian's pretty much given up on the forum and lost all hope..and since I'm not an admin there, I can't really do much about the spam. Sorry, and to be honest...I haven't visited the site in a while either. ~ EmeZxX ` 11:10, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I don't think he was a nuisance at all..I think he could've been a little more persistent =/ ~ EmeZxX ` 12:16, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
