Hi Freddyzdead. I've taken a look at a few of your recent edits and I can't help but notice that you are adding a lot of material that doesn't have sources. A lot of it is also original research and not written from a neutral point of view. Please read and follow these policies - they are core policies of Wikipedia and its important that we all follow them. If you have questions about this, feel free to ask me. Thanks, Gwernol 23:57, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Yes, I did revert your edits. While you are correct that there is a frightening amount of unsourced material on that page, that does not give you the right to add your own original research to it. The responsibility for properly sourcing material always lies with those adding it to the article.
As for the specifics of your edits, I'm afraid they did not meet our standards, not only for lack of sources, but also because they are also poorly worded. You should write from a neutral point of view giving facts, not your own personal analysis. So writing: "...long after XP had burst onto the scene" is inappropriate, it should be written as "...after XP had been released" so that it doesn't sound like XP is being promoted. Another example is "...Windows 2000 had a buggy and counterintuitive installation procedure which also frightened many consumers away, and prevented the OS from being recognized as the breakthrough it really" which reads as editorializing by you and I'm afraid isn't encyclopedic writing.

Hello. You added a statement to the article Nucleus Limited. Do not understand why. Do you have knowledge of the history of the company ? If you do please try to give a citation for your knowledge, or perhaps discuss the reason for your comment on the article's talk page.121.219.154.23 (talk) 07:07, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are very welcome to reintroduce this material if you can rewrite it in neutral language and provide proper published sources to back it up.
By the way, please also read our policy on personal attacks. Your message to me contains several. If you are unable to communicate with other editors in a calm and polite manner you can be blocked from editing. Thanks, Gwernol 13:42, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
