A tag has been placed on Foundation for the Preservation of the American Family (FPAF), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Foundation for the Preservation of the American Family (FPAF) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Foundation for the Preservation of the American Family (FPAF)[edit]

Not every organisation or club is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for article inclusion guidelines. If your organisation passes these basic criteria and you do not have a conflict of interest then the article may remain. Hope that helps you. --Triwbe (talk) 10:27, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article as it now exists is just an empty page, and therefore will be deleted. If you want to create a new article, please take a look at the guidelines that the previous user has suggested. In particular, as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia rather than a free web host, the purpose of an article should be to inform readers about this organization rather than to assist the organization in making itself better known. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 15:43, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have saved this in your "user space". This is appropriate, while you build it. However, it runs the risk of deletion again. Please find appropriate sources to show that the FPAF is already notable, as noted to you above. Bearian (talk) 22:53, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Bearian is correct. Please put this in a subdirectory or I will nominate it for deletion per Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion as inappropriate use of user space. As it is, it seems like blatant advocacy for this group. Please review Wikipedia:User page for more information. Thanks, Pdcook (talk) 15:20, 6 November 2009 (UTC).[reply]
I created a user sub-page:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Freehelplist/FPAF ; I hope that's what you meant. Thank you all ! we'll try to work on this Freehelplist (talk) 17:42, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I think that it OK. As you are rewriting the page, please keep in mind Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. If you are uncertain if your article meets these criteria, you can submit a Wikipedia:Requests for comment for input while it is still in your user subdirectory. Thanks, Pdcook (talk) 18:59, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:Freehelplist/FPAF[edit]

User:Freehelplist/FPAF, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Freehelplist/FPAF and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Freehelplist/FPAF during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Psychonaut (talk) 12:22, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
