Cia factbook vs imf

I agree with your proposal. Otherwise people will just fight over it and waste time. I do however question why you assume the IMF is better than the cia a estimating gdp. Particularly in this case the IMF appears to have grossly miscalucalted equitorial guinea gdp. Are you sure its from this year?

It's really hard to objectively state that either IMF or CIA is more accurate, but without details of either's methodologies, I would be inclined to favor the IMF as they are an organization that has more expertise in economics and finance, whereas the CIA has more expertise in less-relevent fields of intelligence.
