Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tb-ab.jpg)
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Tb-ab.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Yamla 03:23, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- basically, you deleted it from the only article it was on :-P anyway, ive asked you something about it on your discussion. --fs 19:06, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- ok, the latest comment on the image's page makes it clear why it was removed from there. --fs 22:55, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
I see you reuploaded the exact same image and once again, added it to an article without providing the mandatory detailed fair-use rationale. I have once again orphaned it. Any use of a copyrighted image must be accompanied by a detailed fair-use rationale. --Yamla 01:20, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes (I know you're watching the page). The same image, different rationale, copied from Mena Suvari. ok, perhaps I'm confuced, can you explain why a) Mena Suvari has an image with exactly the same rationale (I took example from there) and b) Kevin Spacey still has an image from a screenshot? --fs 01:24, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
