A tag has been placed on Imperium (Video Games), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Imperium (Video Games)[edit]

Hi, thanks for message. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. I can't see any indication anyway of how this game meets the linked criteria
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Yours starts "What is Imperium?", more typical of a sales pitch than an encyclopaedia and the text consists mainly of a description of the game and how to play it, no hard facts. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: they would be missing out on most of the aspects of the game... Imperium is a "true" multiplayer game... as opposed to other systems which allow only one player to be active at a time... it is very efficient and can easily support dozens of players at the same time with almost no system load
  • For more information you can visit the official website... just spam
  • and would be helpful for people to have to get support— I'm sure, but we are an encyclopaedia, not a free advertising or technical support site

A tag has been placed on Imperium (Video Games) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
