This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Quick Timer Event, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Quick Time Event. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Quick Timer Event has been changed to a redirect

[edit]

Hey there, regarding your article Quick Timer Event, it was an exact copy of Quick Time Event. I'm assuming you wanted to help people out who mistype it as Quick Timer Event, but just to let you know, MediaWiki has a built-in function for just that kind of thing. Whenever you know of a common misspelling of an article, you can create a Redirect. Redirects basically just send the user to the correct spelling. This way, both Quick Time Event and Quick Timer Event don't BOTH have to be edited whenever someone wants to add or change something! To make a redirect, just create a page with:

#REDIRECT [[nameOfArticle]]

If you need more help on creating redirects, please refer to this page: Wikipedia:Redirect

Thanks a lot for your effort, hope my information helps you in the future! Good luck! Tucker001 (talk | contribs) 00:04, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I reverted my changes. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought the correct title for the article was Quick Time Event and that you were trying to create a redirect. Sorry about that =P Tucker001 (talk | contribs) 03:06, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
