Notice

The article Libyan Amazon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:FRINGE, unreliable sites and books.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. @Fram Thank you for taking the time to review my article and share your opinion. I respect your point of view, but I would like to explain why I think the sources I have used are appropriate and credible. The only website I have referenced in my article is a reputable and well-researched one. It presents archaeological evidence and pictures to support its claims, and the article is authored by a qualified expert in the field. The other sources I have relied on are books that I have accessed through Google Books, which is a reliable platform for finding scholarly publications. I have also verified the quality and accuracy of these books with an editor who has expertise in the topic. In my article, I have not exaggerated or biased any aspect of the topic, but rather maintained a neutral and objective tone throughout. I have also cited all my sources properly and followed the required formatting guidelines. I hope you can appreciate the effort and research that went into writing this article. Google Books lists all books, it has nothing to do with them being reliable or reputable or not. I don't know who told you that "Survivors of Atlantis: Their Impact on World Culture" is a scholarly publication, and I notice that the website is made by someone who publishes his books on lulu.com (i.e. self-published, not a scholarly publisher) and is the kind of researcher who claims that this "obviously shows a negroid Amazon kneeling in front of an altar.". I can raise it at WP:FRINGE if you want the opinion of some others. Fram (talk) 14:02, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fullofdino, why did you create this page without even waiting for discussion at Talk:Amazons? 16:29, 20 September 2023 (UTC) R Prazeres (talk) 16:29, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@R Prazeres i really not sure. there is always different word about the amazons and stuff so I thought it would be good to differentiate i had those sources from before so. Fullofdino (talk) 16:48, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
