License tagging for Image:CO2HydrPhaseDiag.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CO2HydrPhaseDiag.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:05, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Cathedral Saint-Peter Saint-Paul[edit]

You added categories, but they don't exist. Try again. Cornell Rockey 17:49, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just did it. Thanks! GGenov 17:52, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just changed one of them to a more specific category. You might want to include an intro sentance on that article before the sections begin (something along the lines of "The Catheral Saint-Peter Saint-Paul is the roman catholic catedreal of Nantes, France and the greater diocee. It was built between blank and blank and occupies the blank portion of the city. Its unique features are blank and blank.") In the future, I'd also suggest you reply to people on their talk pages. It makes them more likely to see it. Keep up the wikipedia-ing. Cornell Rockey 17:59, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated your article for a DYK feature you may be pleased to know Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:48, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you don't mind but I have tarted up your article as little - restructured your article a little and improved some wording. I have also taken one or two photos out of the gallery and they look much greater supporting the article. All it needs now is some references and external links. It looks more attractive now. I also started the orignal architect to rid of a red link Ernst Stavro Blofeld 12:11, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great, I am compiling a list and starting every feature film, actor an dsirecotr, cinematographer, editor etc by country -I am from WIkiProject Film I am comiling the List of Argentine films at present. See Category:Argentine films there was only about 8 films 6 weeks ago!! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 13:07, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah remove it then I looked in the commons and it is in the Nantes category. Their mistake!! I'll check your article now I have just been cleaning up the main England article which is not as good as it should be Ernst Stavro Blofeld 15:19, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work. Should be a DYK feature no probs now. I take it you speak French or are French? I have just started learning it! Je suis perdu! - I am lost! I still don't know about that sentence in the intro you have added - I feel the intro should focus on introducing the buiolding itself - the propserity sentence should be intergrated into the main body of the article in the context Ernst Stavro Blofeld 15:30, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ha! No no. Of course I don't mean a featured article. I mean a Did You Know? feature. See the main Wikipedia page. There are about 6 articles from wikipedia's newest articles which are good starter articles that show how wikipedia is developing. Even my article Leon Moreaux before was a did you know. They are usaully the best new articles in the last 5 days. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 15:39, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For example one of the DYK articles today on th main page is Nikolaevsk Incident -your article is WAY! better than this. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 15:42, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would be great if you could find some info from between 1650 and 1960. to complete a greater picture and understanding of the later history.

Good. I have also contacted the admin who deals with the main page asked him what he thinks. Are you from Bulgaria then ? Soon enough I will be creating the List of Bulgarian films and have started Category:Bulgarian films but they will all need expanding it would be great if you have any knowledge of them as much info I have found is in Bulgar. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:01, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome my friend. I can see you an intelligent academic yourself with your uni degrees. From Sofia? I live in Highlight Park Barry, Wales. Llantwit Major Beach is located down the coast where I surf regularly -great to get rid of stress. -the pics are mine although the waves were flat at the time! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:11, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like yourself am interested in architecture but many many topics ranging from physics to surfing!! I have a keen interest in Tibet monasteries e.g Shalu Monastery (I started the spanish wikipedia article too), Ramoche Temple, Tashilhunpo etc. I have been writing up Seven Years in Tibet. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:18, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feel absolutely free to start one or two missing films when you have some spare time from Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/List of films without article/List of missing Bulgarian Films. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:39, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WOW! Excellent work. This is exactly what I mean. - exactly! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:53, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your cathedral will be one the main page in 2-3 days!

I would be immensely grateful if you would help me on the missing films. Each article is very important as it also highlights all of the missing actors and direcotrs from wikipedia which is not only part of WikiProject Film but WikiProject Biography - two major branches of the entire wikiproject. I just stubbed the director Lyudmil Kirkov. A stub is far better than the article not existing! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 19:07, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Super stuff. If you like for starters you can just stub to set them up very quickly and add the plot details when you have time at a later date although i can see you beleive on creating high quality articles immediately. also see the talk pages of the film articles -the template links to our WikiProject Film articles.

As I haven't got around to checking the notability of those Bulgarian films yet, if you like you can activate the links of all the films you know of (even if the articles aren't started). This will turn them into red links to add to the project asap Ernst Stavro Blofeld 19:18, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An article which you started, or significantly expanded, Cathedral of St.Peter and St.Paul, Nantes, was selected for DYK![edit]

Updated DYK query On January 20, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Cathedral of St.Peter and St.Paul, Nantes, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Thanks for your contributions! Nishkid64 18:14, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hEY PRONTO. Check out the main page. Your article is the main DYK feature!! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:16, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

More brilliant work well done! This is what wikipedia is all about people providing there expertise and knowedlge of different subjects!! What would be great is if you could activate as many films that you know of leaving them red linked - and every film your start move it to the top of the missing page . Weel done! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:19, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Beleive me your starter bulgarian films are obviously better than I could do -I wouldn't know the plot so should definately go in completed section. Also if you can add as many to the List of Bulgarian films according to year as you can. This would be enormously helpful. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:21, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like your new basilica!! Hey I tell you what I help you with that to get it a DYK and you help me with my new unreferenced article The Temptress what do you think ? Ernst Stavro Blofeld 22:47, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well I was under the inmpression that 1926 film and all silent films and images were in the public domain . I'm currently working on Abbas Kiarostami sorting out the copy editing and writing I'm about half way thoughErnst Stavro Blofeld 17:53, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't matter I was kind of losing interest in proposing it anyway. Feel free to improve it. Its funny you should say about the high quality of my writing (I belong to a family of professional writers and my aunt Jennifer Sullivan is a novelist and book critic. I won A* awards at school for creative writing and stuff like that whilst achieving a Special level History degree on top of the normal A-level - a degree that entails critical writing and expamination of historical documents and interpretation. I have always been praised for my writing -it surprised me that some editor has said the english is poor in the beginning of the iranian director I have been working on. I feel I have removed a great deal of the bias and it reads quite well so far up to the legacy part which I haven't got to yet. It still needs work but it seems fine to me Ernst Stavro Blofeld 18:20, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cathedrals[edit]

Hey, there's no problem with having articles on cathedrals appear on DYK every once in a while. Heck, I had 20 of my articles on politicians on DYK in just two weeks!

Great work with the articles, by the way. They look really great for DYK. Just nominate Basilica Cathedral St. Peter and St. Patern, Vannes and Cathedral of Tours at T:DYKT and hopefully, you'll see them on the Main Page in a few days. =) Nishkid64 23:32, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is the sky photoshopped???

Basilica Cathedral St. Peter and St. Patern, Vannes

Rhetorical question - it is obviously photoshopped - not really appropriate for an encyclopedic entry IMO.

It is written in the meta section of the image itself that it comes from Photoshop. The image caption also says it is a mosaic, which is to inform that it has been "stiched" ;). this also causes the source pictures to go through a certain number of rather complex pattern-searching algorithms that may be considered pure data manipulation. anything against mosaics? if yes, you would probably like to politely ask NASA to stop doing that as well. anyway, the important question is if the picture carries the message, which in this case is quite clear. And please sign your posts! GGenov 08:31, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck on WikiProject France I have found a good article for you to translate: Château de Bidache from french wikipedia fr:Château de Bidache. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 19:07, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice!! I thought that french chateau article had your name written all over it -I'll help you get it on the main page again when you get round to translating if you like. I'm afraid my french is very poor I'd like to learn fluently. Un salle de bains avec duche! I'm thinking when I have time about starting an article Monasteries in Tibet or Tibetan architecture. The page would be a summary of Tibetan buddhist monasteries in Tibet, acountry I find extemely fascinating. Someone has add films to the Bulgarian list by the way Ernst Stavro Blofeld 19:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Being able to produce a high quality article in an immense range of subjects whilst being able to communicate and understand many languages is very impressive. I bet your IQ is probably higher than mine 150 + !! Ernst Stavro Blofeld 19:55, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing. You realise that the two of us are in the top 0.001 or somehting like that of the world population? Ernst Stavro Blofeld 20:04, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent. It would be great if you could use all that on wikipedia. I really do feel not enough specialist books are not used on here. Many articles are way too short -it should become more of a library rather than a collection of articles I think.

I am just going through the world lists and adding the chronology tables ready for listing changing the format from an A-Z which can be done in the categories naturally. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 20:30, 12 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Well I am a firm beleiver that both sources should be used Internet and traditional literature, Whilst the Interent poses a vast amount of information in this world I rarely see specialist subjects covered in the great detail a book discussing the subject might. . As long as the book source is reliable and this is stated in the bibilogrpahy of the article it should be considered very highly. Ever visited Hawaii? Forget Honolulu and Waikiki -too many Americans but Maui and Kauai are amazing Ernst Stavro Blofeld 20:52, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

More about the Cathedral of Nantes[edit]

Hi, and thanks for the good work on the cathedral. I'll try to help and chip in a little more in the days to come. But I was wondering if you had any reliable sources conecrning what you originally wrote: In front of the Cathedral, on 5 September 1661, on the order of Louis XIV, Nicolas Fouquet was arrested by d’Artagnan. because I heard about this several times but could never find a serious reference. Obviously I'm not talking about the arrest itself but about the fact that it took place right in front of the Cathedral...Many thanks! Frédéric 15:39, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 06:10, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
