A380 at Dubai photo

[edit]

Hi there, nice photo! I was wondering if you might upload a new version, cropped slightly tighter on the aircraft, and centered better? Thanks for your consideration. --Ctillier 06:47, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Ctillier. I have uploaded the cropped and contrast adjusted photo on my user page which you can use. I also updated this photo on the A380 page. Have a look and tell me if it looks alright? Also I am quite new to wikipedia, and would like to know how I can submit my images to wiki commons for future photos. Do i need a new username and accound!? let me know please. I also have many more photos which I have taken of the A380 as well as the Boeing 777. Feel free to contact me if you need any photos and look at the photo you requested on my user page.Best Regards Gaurang --G_patkar 05:14 AM GMT, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Yes, you need a separate account. You can then simply include images directly from the Commons, and projects in other languages can include your photos as well. Thanks for the update, it looks much better! I wish I could have been at Dubai to see it. --Ctillier 06:39, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Ctillier. One last thing. I don't want to consume too much webspace on wiki's servers. Is there a way t delete old images I have contributed? Thanks --G_patkar 05:50 AM GMT, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Yes. Please refer to WP:IFD --Ctillier 06:08, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kiki challenge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
