Dear Gabriel Henry, I have removed the following sentence from the Clodomil Orsi article's view (It is still there, but it is hidden from view) because it does not make sense. The article's writing suggests a very rough translation from another language, and the sentence needs proper translating:

He begining your carrer with president in Coirinthians after Nesi Cury and Alberto Dualib request remote of the club.

In English, this sentence makes no sense. I'd suggest that you post the original language sentence on the article's talk page and request translation, but until it can get translated, please don't remove the "hidden" code, Thanks! ArielGold 19:27, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, Gabriel, if you aren't able to do it, post it on the article's talk page, and I'll request someone come to translate it, okay? Cheers! ArielGold 19:39, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed you put the sentence back in. It truly must be translated first. Do you have the original language it was written in, and the original sentence for me to add to the talk page? Please do not put that statement back in the article until we can get it translated properly, okay? I'm posting it to the article's Talk:Clodomil Orsi page, requesting translation. Thanks! hi[edit]

Hi. I found you in categories of users who can contribute in English and Portuguese. I myself am a native speaker of English, but I'm well on my way to learning Portuguese. Just check out my user page and talk page, and join in any of the discussions. To keep updated, you can even put a watch on my user page, which will automatically watch my talk page. :-) learnportuguese (talk) 18:19, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Gabriel Henry! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 873 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Luiz Silva Filho - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Fábio Braz do Nascimento - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Proposed deletion of Manoel Valença[edit]

The article Manoel Valença has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFOOTY as has not played senior international football nor played in a fully professional league. No indication that subject has garnered significant reliable coverage for any other achievements to satisfy GNG. [http://uk.soccerway.com/players/manoel-cordeiro-valenca-neto/173006/ Soccerway indicates appearances only in Paulista A2.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
