AfD nomination of Blacktress[edit]

Blacktress, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Blacktress satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Blacktress and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Blacktress during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Iain99Balderdash and piffle 23:34, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Touch Me (All Night Long)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Touch Me (All Night Long) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ginkgo100[edit]

Can you please explain why you are deleting the user boxes on another person's page.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 18:03, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your deletion of userboxes on another person's userpage appears to be vandalism, as such they have been reverted. Please justify this action, continued unexplained deletions may be deemed as vandalism.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 18:07, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please stop removing userboxes from my userbox page. I don't understand what you are trying to do, but whatever it is, you are doing it wrong. --Ginkgo100talk 16:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stevie Nicks Discography[edit]

Why do you INSIST on changing the text on the Stevie Nicks discography page? Specifically, it seems that you think that 'Gold' by John Stewart is a duet with Stevie. It isn't. She is credited as providing background vocals to the song. She is NOT credited as a lead singer on the song, nor is she credited on the label for the record. In short, this isn't a duet, so please stop changing the words on the page. The words you're putting there are wrong. Adfalcon (talk) 08:03, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

userbox relocation[edit]

Hi, just a heads-up that a userbox you have on your pages (re Hypercholesterolemia) has changed location to User:Sappho'd/Userboxes/HasHypercholesterolemia - there's also a new related one at User:Sappho'd/Userboxes/HypercholesterolemiaFINE if you feel that might be more appropriate.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
