Gaelic Knight, Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your recent edits to "Jehovah's Witnesses." You may want to read the article "Wikiproject: Jehovah's Witnesses" for further information on developing articles on Jehovah's Witnesses:

Articles should be written with the general public in mind and should avoid using language that is primarily used by Witnesses themselves:[1]

As to the phrase "revoked their membership" with regards to those Witnesses who voluntarily accept blood, the phrase was actually used in a memo put out by the Watchtower Society. See: [2]Dtbrown 14:58, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize Wikipedia[edit]

Blanking of pages or sections can be considered vandalism and can result in being blocked. Please do not vandalize pages on Wikipedia. Dtbrown 15:00, 24 March 2007 (UTC) The neutral point of view is a difficult policy for many of us to understand, and even Wikipedia veterans occasionally accidentally introduce material which is non-ideal from an NPOV perspective. Indeed, we are all affected by our beliefs to a greater or lesser extent. Though inappropriate, this is not vandalism in itself unless persisted in after being warned. Making bold edits Wikipedians often make sweeping changes to pages in order to improve them - most of us aim to be bold when updating articles. While having large chunks of text you've written removed or substantially rewritten can be frustrating, simply making edits that noticeably alter the text or content of a pages should not be immediately labeled vandalism. Unintentional misinformation Sometimes a user will add content to an article that is factually inaccurate, but in the belief that it is accurate. By doing so in good faith, they are trying to contribute to the encyclopedia and improve it rather than vandalize. If you believe inaccurate information has been added to an article in good faith, ensure that it is, and/or discuss its factuality with the user who has submitted it.[reply]

Gaelic Knight is not a vandal but has a great interest in forwarding correct and accurate information for the benefit of all in an unbiased manner. To edit controversies and then be hailed as a vandel is silly to say the least due to the actual nature of controvercial articles which will most naturally be edited by opposing viewpoints. Gaelic Knight appologises though for edits and sees the futility of editing articles on Jehovah's Witnesses which are so blatently overseen and edited by those with hidden agendas against accurate dissemination of facts about Jehovah's Witnesses.

Please continue editing on Wikipedia. The Jehovah's Witnesses pages need more input from members of the religion. Blanking and removing whole sections, however, is usually viewed as vandalism and will usually result with your edits being reverted. If you are not sure how to proceed consider asking about it on the various talk pages associated with the article. Dtbrown 16:05, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
