Hi Gailgrove,

Is there a significant difference between an XBO lamp and a Xenon arc lamp? If not, I suggest merging the information about XBO into the Xenon arc lamp article (with appropriate references) and redirecting XBO to Xenon arc lamp. Pburka (talk) 15:04, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Mercury vapour lamp

They aren't usually called "high pressure mercury vapor lamp". You must discuss renaming articles before changing them. I've asked an admin to undo this change. --Wtshymanski (talk) 21:09, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Please do read WP:ENGVAR before implementing such changes. The article was started in US English. As to high-pressure, the article covers both high-pressure and low-pressure Hg lamps. Thanks for trying to help though. Materialscientist (talk) 22:18, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Would you happen to be a lighting expert? And I see no where it covering low and medium pressure mercury lamps.
