Persona characters

[edit]

I haven't played P3, only P4, so feel free to improve it as you see fit. Starting a thread on the talk page and then messaging me about it might have been a better idea so that others could see your suggestions. Anyway, most of the "list of character" articles on Wikipedia need some serious work, and since detailed character info and game script citations are hard to find, they usually languish as crufty lists. Currently the only featured list of characters is List of characters in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, which has a bunch of game script citations and reception information.

On a side note, I think that this should be moved to List of characters in Persona 3, etcetera, since they are lists.--ZXCVBNM (TALK) 18:25, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I already accidentally spoiled it, and I don't plan to play it anyway, because of its length. P4 was an incredible game, though. I'm still confused about what separates a "characters of" from a "list of characters" article, since they seem to be pretty much the same. They each have sections for each character and descriptions of them. I've been able to glean that a "list" has less info per character, but I'm still not sure what makes them different.--ZXCVBNM (TALK) 00:32, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I started a discussion earlier at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Name standardization? but I didn't really get a complete answer...--ZXCVBNM (TALK) 04:29, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strange Journey categorization

[edit]

Please contribute to the Megami Tensei template discussion on list categorization if you do not think Strange Journey should be part of the Shin Megami Tensei series as per the history outlined by Atlus[1], I don't see a reason why List of Megami Tensei media should not match the template for this particular subsection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jj984jj (talkcontribs) 10:48, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Atlus Task Force

[edit]

Hi, at the moment I'm looking for active editors to participate in the Atlus Task Force, a proposed task force of WikiProject Video games which covers articles related to Atlus and its products. Since you're working on improving Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, would you be interested in helping out? If so, could you please leave a comment on WP:VG's talk page. Thanks! Megami Tensei

[edit]

Hey : ) I saw your List of Megami Tensei Media (which is really impressive, by the way) and was wondering if you were interested in working on some of the other articles with me. The newer PS2 games are already in good shape, so I'm more talking about some of the older games/main series article. Contact me if you have any ideas! ?EVAUNIT神の人間の殺害者 22:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My main idea was for the main series article. It's pretty messy right now and I figured it could be at least as half (or at least 1/4) as good as articles like Final Fantasy. I agree that the whole "most of these games will not have any info on them" is a problem, but I might as well try : ) ?EVAUNIT神の人間の殺害者 04:06, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I've started a Reception section and I think I'll start to clean up and expand the games section. Eventually, I hope to get up a development section (which will probably have mostly info on the newer games). : ] ?EVAUNIT神の人間の殺害者 23:24, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to add in stuff : ] I'm not being very thorough at the moment. I was wondering what you thought about all the really long Japanese titles. They kind of make the article ugly. What do you think??EVAUNIT神の人間の殺害者 20:04, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I won't put anymore in. and yeah, I was going to source them afterwards. You just beat me to it! ! : ] ?EVAUNIT神の人間の殺害者 20:10, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comments per Request for assessment

[edit]

I reviewed the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 article and left comments for its improvement at the talk page. I haven't assessed it I'm afraid as I'm not solid enough with the criteria, so sorry about that. Hope they help improve the article though. Leave a comment on my talk page if you have any questions about the review. CrimsonFox talk 09:20, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Are you still here?

[edit]

Hey Gakon5. I don't know if you remember me, but I reviewed Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3's GAN. Are you gonna be as active as you were before? I mean, Persona 3 looks like a possible Featured Article. Hope you can work on it again. GamerPro64 (talk) 03:53, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just kinda go in phases. I figure at some point I'll become active again, but I haven't been active since March of this year it would seem. I did leave a few projects hanging, though, including the Persona 3 article. I've certainly wanted to get back to it. I'll probably have to start by giving it a good read-through, though, since it's been a few months since the release of Persona 3 Portable so who knows what kind of stuff has been layered on the article since then. We're at least in a better position to make the information concrete, though, since the game is actually out. Also, we could ditch the Siliconera sources for P3P with more legitimate review sites.
So, long answer short, why not. Let's see where that article is at these days. --gakon5 (talk / contribs) 05:10, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have reviewed your GANomination of VVVVVV, and have a few points for you to address there. --PresN 20:22, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
