Your draft version of Utkarsh Sharma was in a state of being rejected as you have provided all the irrelevant references. Moreover the language was not proper. I reworked on our draft, added valid references and corrected it. So in spite of being thankful you are saying I am claiming the draft to be mine. I have added the draft in my list to keep tack of it. So please be polite and generous while choosing your words. Risu43 (talk) 08:50, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okay apologies, my bad, I didnt know that you had made those changes thanks alot, can you also help me with the following article? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Nirmika_Singh

The reason stated by you to decline the article was that it was writter, He has a photogenic memory and high IQ, but you did not check the whole paragraph it clearly states the following Utkarsh character in the movie Genius (2018 film) is an orphan from Mathura and Vrindavan area in Uttar Pradesh, who lives with priests. He has a photogenic memory and high IQ. He is into Bhagavad Gita and science so has his own unique philosophy. This is not to praise utkarhs but showcases the character he plays in the movie, I am resubmitting the article hope it gets approved this time.

Question

[edit]

You wrote, in an edit summary: "Edited out the line in life and career which said that Utkarsh's Character in the movie has high IQ, I don't understand how that is supposed to be a problem but anyway, I need help to the article to be published". Why do you need the article to be published? Are you working for the subject? If so, please see the conflict of interest policy. Robert McClenon (talk) 08:11, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gaurakshat1. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Gaurakshat1. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Gaurakshat1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 14:23, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to edit this really, till date I have not received any compensation for any of the pages I have edited, Ayaz Ismail as he is my friend and consider him like my brother, I am nephew of Harish Sharma (author), Nirmika SIngh is also a friend if I receive any monetary compensation, I will not hide this, all my edits have been really honest and genuine, request you to please take them back and restore as created. I am really sorry if there's any confusion, I am just a honest man trying to help people I know, with what little I know

Bullshit. You are now blocked. MER-C 17:19, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have an undisclosed financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future. MER-C 17:19, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the case please accept my apologies, I will mention that I am being paid for the edits, I was not aware there is a problem in stating truth. Please allow me a warning this time and unsuspend my account. This will not be repeated, it's a honest request from my end. Gaurakshat1 (talk) 04:23, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am really sorry for the errors rendered by me of using multiple accounts and not mentioning paid to edit, I really don't want to be on the bad side, I apologise for the mistakes made, I promise to never repeat them again, also promise to edit everything with proper guidance and awarness. Please Unblock me.

You are free to make another unblock request. 331dot (talk) 16:43, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The administrator, has blocked me stating that I receive compensation for creating pages, I have created 3 Accounts 2 date, I don't understand where the confussion is, Ayaz Ismail is a friend and brother like, if theres any clarity required I can provide them from these guys, Nirmika Singh is also another friend, whom I was just helping out, I am the nephew of Harish Sharma (author), even the page that I had created of his which is moved to draft says this. There isn't any further truth to this, if I was getting paid for a article I would have mentioned it, but this is India, you don't really charge money from friends and relatives, this is the whole and honest truth, I don;t understand why this confusion has been created altogether. The first page I created was of Utkarsh Sharma, who was a up and coming actor whose release was pending. Request you to unblock me, so that I can contribute to wiki in the same manner. Also going forward, if I create any further pages should I mention that I am being compensated even if I am not? so that I am not stuck in the same cycle again? 07:52, 20 August 2020 (IST)

Decline reason:

I don't believe that you are not compensated. 331dot (talk) 07:53, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This will not be repeated, it's a honest request from my end Gaurakshat1 (talk) 09:35, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please unblock

Decline reason:

I highly suggest a WP:Standard offer here. Up to a few days ago you were telling us you didn't get paid for the edits and didn't use multiple accounts. Now you are saying you lied. That's tough for us to feel comfortable with blocking immediately. So my suggestion is to wait 6 months and come back to this page to request again with full disclosures about all previous accounts and all paid editing you have committed. only (talk) 02:05, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
