Adoption

[edit]

Hi @Gbspontes:, I see you've recently asked to be adopted on your userpage, and I'll be happy to help! If you're interested in being adopted, feel free to respond to this message. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 11:22, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Berrely:, I am glad to receive this message and would definitely love to be adopted. I'm still struggling with contributing to wikipedia, but I'm eager to do so. Any help is more than welcome. - Gbspontes (talk) 02:06, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gbspontes: I'd be happy to help with you with your contributions. I see that you recently had a draft declined in the AfC process, later in the adoption process, maybe we'd be able to explore that. It might take me a day or two to set up the first few classes, but at that time do you have any questions? (I've changed the adoption userbox for you) — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 08:06, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Berrely: To be honest about having questions, I'm so confused about the entire contributing process that I don't even know what questions I could have. Yes I had a draft declined since it was extremely crude and only mentioned the existence of the journal; but truth is, I didn't know how much I would have to initially add to draft to become an article, and I made it as a dummy test to try and contribute through baby steps. Thus, I definitely need help on anything you could help me with, it would be better than try to contribute through trial and error. Gbspontes (talk) 03:43, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gbspontes: don't worry! We're going to be going through a few lessons to help you with contributing to Wikipedia alongside our policies. I've set up the classes at User:Berrely/Adopt and I suggest you go there and read the introduction. Along the way, you can ask any questions, and hopefully, you'll be able to get your draft into the mainspace! For the final question, I need to know a topic you are interested in. Are there any topics that you are interested in contributing to? — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 10:56, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Gbspontes. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 19:55, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
