Sorry, should have explained this better. The "page lock" you requested is, in Wikipedia jargon, "Semi-protection". If the page was "semi-protected", anonymous editors and new users (and that would include you) couldn't make changed to it. Semi-protection is generally only used to stop vandalism, which has that very specific definition. But to put it simply, "vandalism" means doing bad stuff. All the edits since it was reported that Molly was in a bit of a bad way have been positive. See: Wikipedia:Rough guide to semi-protection for more information about "semi-s".
