The article Terrence Keith Ashwin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable person as there are no independent, reliable references about him.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I reverted your edits. If you want to add them back, bring them up in a new section on the article's talk page; if you can get a consensus there, then the edits can be reinserted. See WP:BRD. I reverted the edits because they are based on the interpretation of primary sources rather a secondary source that reviewed the field. The Cardullo claim is substantially earlier (1973). Admittedly, that claim is based on the inventor's own article, but that article was published in a journal that has some editorial review. The references that you used were patents, had claims about events that were not mentioned in the patents, or an award announcement that did not have a substantial explanation about why the award was given.
